Discovering Nanotechnology
Clinical trials for our microfabricated devices have created a lot of excitement. Our full spectrum Short Wavelength InfraRed (SWIR) nano-spectrometer is the smallest of its kind—half the size of a U.S. dime. It gathers data from arterial blood at 128 separate wavelengths simultaneously. Results that had normally required large in-lab equipment can now be continuously and noninvasively collected.
A Wearable Future
Our initial focus on blood glucose readings will be followed by other important biometrics, including hematocrit, hydration, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and many others that impact members’ health.
In addition to servicing diabetes, Tula’s technology platform will support many long-standing chronic conditions, from congestive heart failure to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Our technology is protected by 90 patents, along with over 60 years of management expertise in noninvasive and microfabrication.
